So an art came across my dash, and I looked at it and I'm like "okay THAT CHARACTER LOOKS LIKE A MY LITTLE PONY AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY."

Human.

I looked. Fortunately for me, the character was drawn in a few poses with a few expressions. I ranked the expressions from most to least Pony. Then I saw it.

... her face shape. Doesn't. Change. With mouth shape. Which includes jaw angle that would be necessary to create the mouth shape.

The semi-recent MLP animation? Pretty sure it doesn't change horsey face shape with human-ish mouth movements.


... and that's why I'm not allowed out of the house.
