Doctor appointment today: new doctor. We clicked well, I sincerely hope. When I mentioned our coping tactic for election night was old British comedy, she perked up and asked which. We're adjusting two meds so a third will maybe hit me less hard. Getting a referral for the trigger thumb. She agreed with me about the "usefulness" of having me put my medical history on paper when, and this is important, SWITCHING PHYSICIANS AT THE SAME HIGHLY COMPUTERIZED OFFICE. To which end, I had written "See MyChart" across the insufficient number of spaces on the paper. "At least they're not listing 'frigidity' on there anymore," I observed brightly.
Nora is at a work thing now, and visiting family for Thanksgiving week.
Since I woke up early, I put the blue on my hair. Because I couldn't face a new doctor without being the right color.
Then Alex had an appointment right after mine.
When we got home, I turned off the dragons in advance of the wind. Then I unloaded the last of the dishwasher, loaded it up with whatever I could round up, and started it. So maybe it would finish in time.
And then I started baking some frozen dinner components.

I am commencing the Computer Detectives series (Lavinia Harris): a re-read of The Great Rip-Off, and then the three other books that I hadn't even heard of except for a vague inkling of #2. I can see why I imprinted so hard on them.
The power may yet go out. But at least we have various things charged.
