The VCR/TV situation is, to put it mildly, interesting. There is no VCR in the living room, and the sound is gone, whatever sound there was. Little Fayoumis got twenty minutes of his racing game after school.
He wanted a movie after supper, but there was no VCR. Undaunted, I put on the Scooby-Doo DVD in the PS2. There was no sound. I enabled subtitles, and read the movie to him.
We really got into it.
What's better? I'm going to count it as a book. Because, technically, it's a story that I'm reading to him...
