One of my last calls today involved someone who took literally two or three minutes to reopen an application. There's a shortcut on the desktop, and it's in the start menu as you'd expect. They opened the 'uninstall' application instead. Because 'Uninstall Client Programme Name' is obviously the same as 'Client Programme Name'.

They didn't open the icon on the desktop because they thought it wouldn't work, since the icon in the system tray was gone.

Tech support teaches you not to ask why they think things like that. It's better to just assume they're suffering from some sort of brain injury.
